The twitter universe was ablaze on Friday morning with the impeccably toned and figure hugging dress worn by Kate Middleton's sister. The plunging cowel neck, cap sleeves and an hour glass figure. Traditional lore dictates that one should never wear white remove the possibility that the bride may be upstaged and judging from the comments on twitter it should be noted. Not only did she look stunning but also angelic walking down Westminster Abbey with the flower girls dressed in white.
The dress was designed by the fashion house of Alexander McQueen but our good friend Matthew Christopher, who we have called the next Vera Wang, was flattered that his dress Diana was the inspiration and almost copy worn by Pippa. We currently have the Diana by Matthew in stock!

The world was watching on Friday morning as the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate took place. The bride was stunning in her elegant dress. Lace sleeves and elegant v-neck, with stunning veil and princess tiara (Cartier on loan from the Queen) defined the dramatic elegance of the event. Described as throwback to the Grace Kelly era. Both gowns were high-waisted, with fuller skirts and a dramatic train worn with a stunning tiara and sheer veil.
Brides looking to re-create the look should look to designer house Malis Henderson, who has re-created the veil in a beautiful faux silk edged in either French Alencon or Chantilly lace.
While the look of the Sarah Burton designed dress can truly be found in the modestly priced bridal line of Lusan Madongus where the sure to be trendsetting feature of lace sleeves and overlay can be added to the dress. Here is a recently designed ad for the upcoming issue of Calgary Bride magazine. We really wanted to stress that if you plan on keeping your dress, which you should for sentimental reasons, you need to take the proper actions to preserve it.
Here is an important tip for brides whether or not you choose to have the gown preserved or cleaned... TAKE IT OUT OF THE PLASTIC BAG.
The plastic bag will give off fumes which will cause the gown to yellow very rapidly. The plastic bag should only be used for transport. Click below to learn all about preserving your gown.

The first gown has a beautiful trumpet figure, with flattering curves and esthetics, finished by a totally unique peak-a-boo tulle around the sweep train. The second strapless gown has a ruffled seam finish, similar to custom made dresses by Oscar De Le Renta, and Vera Wang. The final dress is Matthew’s most amazing dress ever... and must be seen in person! It is called the Masterpiece and for good reason, this dress features over 5000 swarovski crystals that drip like a beautiful chandelier over the entire dress... truly a work of art.
